Face Masks

Face Masks

So I am kind of cringing as I type out this post. As most of you know I have been sewing masks over the past 3 weeks. I have sewn about 150 now. My wait list is now at 300. I just hate to turn anyone away because I know people need them.

I have tried to donate as many as I can possibly sew, but I feel I am just not able to do it fast enough and having people wait 2 weeks to get some masks is cringe worthy enough as I am only one person and usually sew when my kids go to bed for the night. I just don't want to let anyone down.

So I have been reaching out to several of my distributors and manufacturers over Ohio. I came across a product that I think will be a great alternative.

100% US Cotton 30/1
Washable and reusable

Obviously these are designed to be used when the N-95 masks are not available or required.

The masks are 2-Ply Cotton Construction with top and bottom binding, cover stitch closure and 3 pleat expansion.

The masks measure 4.5 height (flat) 7 expanded X 7.5 width
Either tie behind the head or create a loop for around the ears.
Will fit all different ages and face structures

So if you think it would be acceptable I will be offering these masks at my cost for what I pay for them which would be $4.00. If you can not afford it please let me know. I still want you to have one even if you can not afford it! If you would rather have a sewn one as well please let me know if I have not contacted you yet that your order is ready.

I feel like this would be a better option that I can get them to everyone much quicker. The first batch will be in the week of April 13th. I am sorry to be so long winded I just feel very emotional about this and don't want to let anyone down as it kind of makes me feel like a failure.

I wanted to add, direct from the distributor:

These masks are not medical grade and are not to take the place of the N95 masks. They are not suitable for use in a surgical setting or where there would be significant exposure to liquid, bodily or other hazardous fluids, use in a clinical setting, or use in the presence of a high-intensity heat source or flammable gas.

just received my tultex face masks today and I am very satisfied, the quality is good and the fabric is very soft to the touch. I ordered on 4/17 so time of arrival wasn’t bad at all, approximately 2 weeks. Amy, the owner, was very responsive to any questions that I had. I would definitely recommend and do business with AweBee Designs
