The mugs designs are placed onto the mugs through professional inks through a sublimation process which permanently dyes the mug when heated on the commercial press. It is not vinyl and will not peel off. The mugs are dishwasher safe top rack,however, it is still recommended to hand wash so you can enjoy the mug for many years to come.
